NB: Food is not what Prague is famous for.

  • Czech (and European) cuisine

Mincovna
Very good restaurant with friendly staff in the Old Town Square.

U Rudolfina
In the same street as the Faculty of Arts, serving mostly Czech food and great Pilsner beer! This is the pub where the students of philosophy spend their student years.

Kozlovna Apropos
A stylish Czech Alehouse in Prague’s historical centre, serving traditional food & Kozel beer from the tank. Just next to U Rudolfina.

Potrefená husa
Mostly Czech cuisine, good beer! Around the corner from Kozlovna Apropos.

The Pub
A pub with self-serving beer-taps on each table. Specializes in burgers.

  • Mediterranean, Asian

Turquoise
A Mediterranean restaurant just across the street from the venue (to the right). A beautiful garden!

MucDong
Our favourite Vietnamese restaurant with very decent food, friendly service, and reasonable prices.

  • Italian

Marina Ristorante
An Italian restaurant on a ship anchoring on the Vltava River some 100m from the Faculty of Arts. The menu is a bit pricey, but the view is priceless!

  • Vegetarian, Vegan

Maitrea
Welcome to Maitrea, a vegetarian restaurant, which aims to soften your life and bring good vibrations to your heart.

Dhaba Beas
Completely vegetarian, buffet-style lunch place.

  • Cafés

Mistral Café
On the way from the Faculty to the Old Town square, this café also offers lunches, snacks and pastry, good coffee and a unique interior.

Grand Café Orient
A restaurant/café in the famous cubist house U Černé Matky Boží (House of the Black Madonna) in Celetná Street. Go upstairs and don’t miss the view up the staircase! Downstairs, you will find a fancy restaurant named Černá Madona, offering various highly elaborate cakes.

  • Other

Dinitz Glatt Kosher
One of the many Jewish restaurants in the neighbouring Jewish quarter with excellent reviews.

Faency Fries
The best fresh french fries in Kaprova Street.

U Kunštátů
A craft beer spot with a unique atmosphere of the Old Town.
